My Story

My journey began in a small town in southern Belgium, where I was born and raised. Music has always been a part of my life, starting with the guitar at age 6 and later learning the banjo in my early teens. Alongside music, woodworking quickly captured my heart. At 12 or 13, I began creating small projects, and soon after, I attended a woodworking school where I was classically trained as a fine furniture maker. There, I honed my craft, mastering traditional joinery techniques and participating in both national and international competitions. This dedication earned me several medals, including a medal for excellence at the WorldSkills competition in Brazil.

As I grew, I began combining my passions for woodworking and music, creating my own instruments to play. Before long, I was crafting guitars for family and friends, and what started as a personal journey evolved into a lifelong dedication to lutherie.

Now, over a decade later, my passion for building custom instruments continues to grow. What truly drives me is watching someone’s face light up as they play one of my creations. I get to be a small part of their musical journey—helping bring their sound to life.

There’s something uniquely fulfilling about creating an instrument that will inspire someone else’s artistry. Every guitar I build is a reflection of that shared creative spirit—an artwork designed not just to be played, but to help others create their own art.
